Summer has arrived on the southern Oregon coast and it’s time to get outside! There are outdoor activities abound in our area, but one of our favorite things to do is downhill mountain biking, and what better place to ride than at the famous Whiskey Run Trails? Located just south of Coos Bay, the Whiskey Run Trails offer over 50 runs of varying difficulty through beautiful Oregon coastal forest. We love supporting this amazing local attraction, and so once again we are brewing a very special beer in support of the trails – The Gnomewrecker IPA.
The Gnomewrecker IPA (named for one of Whiskey Run’s most challenging runs) is a lemon-infused IPA. Clocking in at 6.5% ABV, this bright and citrusy IPA is juiced up with a house-made lemon tincture. We zested over 60 pounds of lemons to give this beer a wonderful burst of citrus flavor. We also donate 5% of the gross sales from this beer to the Whiskey Run Trails!
We’ll be releasing the Gnomewrecker at a special release event on July 20th. Come down to the 7 Devils Public House for free samples of the Gnomewrecker, brewery tours for the public, and live music from Allen Giardinelli and the Sun Machine!
