7 Devils Event Spaces
Since opening the Waterfront Alehouse, 7 Devils now offers three different event spaces for you to celebrate the coast your way. We’re easily accessible for out-of-town guests as both locations are just a few blocks away from lodging like the Red Lion Inn, Edgewater Inn, and the Heritage House Coos Bay. From birthdays and anniversaries to meetings and fundraisers, all of our spaces are perfect for small to medium-sized events. See details for each venue below.
The spaces are different but the rules are the same. Upfront payment is required to hold your reservation as private events need special staffing considerations as well as extra planning for food and drink accommodations. However, we understand that things happen!
Refunds are available for events canceled within the following timeframes:
Full refund for cancellations made 7 or more days prior to scheduled event.
50% refund for cancellations made 2-6 days prior to scheduled event.
No refund for cancellations made less than 2 days prior to scheduled event.

The Bayview Mezz
Waterfront alehouse
Up on the second floor of our Waterfront Alehouse, the Bayview Mezz’s elevated position and panoramic windows set our beautiful Coos Bay as the backdrop for your event.
About the Space
Whether you’re planning on a seated meal or a more casual mix-and-mingle situation, the Bayview Mezz can accommodate a variety of setups. This is a private area so the built-in bar will be yours to enjoy for the duration of your event. We have a 65″ Television on our South wall to accommodate presentations or any other A/V needs for your event.
Capacity
With a casual atmosphere and enough room for 35-40 people, the Bayview Mezz is great for medium-sized events like birthday parties, reunions, or team-building events.
Food and Beverage Options
Much like the Community Room, flexible food and beverage packages are available. You can collaborate with our team to design a curated menu based on seasonal availability; set up a buffet selecting items from our catering menu; or for less formal events, you can have your guests order a la carte from the Waterfront Alehouse’s full menu.
Pricing
The Bayview Mezz is available Tuesday-Sunday* for $200 per hour. We offer a discounted rate of $100 per hour for daytime events booked 11-5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The hourly cost includes our excellent staff and servers, but don’t worry about calculating gratuity at the end of the night; your food and drink bill will include an 20% service charge.
*The Waterfront Alehouse is closed on Mondays.

The Community Room
Brewery and Tap Room
When we first opened our original pub in 2013, we just had one small dining room. Fast forward a couple of years to the additional second dining area we so fondly dubbed “The Community Room”.
About the Space
If you want a cozy space that your guests don’t need to stray from, The Community Room is the way to go. With a dedicated bar and two bathrooms inside, it’s a great option for intimate gatherings. You’ll have the bar all to yourselves which doubles as the perfect spot for a buffet. Display and audio capabilities are also available for presentations.
Capacity
The Community Room holds 40 people making it the ideal space for medium-sized events like staff and company outings, holiday parties, or family gatherings.
Food and Beverage Options
Flexible food and beverage packages are available. You can collaborate with our team to design a curated menu based on seasonal availability; set up a buffet selecting items from our catering menu; or for less formal events, you can have your guests order a la carte from our pub menu.

Community Room rentals are charged by the hour, at different rates depending on the day of the week. Events booked from Sunday-Thursday* cost $100 per hour and weekend rentals, Friday and Saturday, are $200 per hour. The hourly cost includes our excellent staff and servers, but don’t worry about calculating gratuity at the end of the night; your food and drink bill will include a 20% service charge.
*We can’t currently offer events on Tuesdays as the Brewery and Tap Room is closed.

Office Think Tank Rental
Brewery and Tap Room
If lack of collaboration has become a problem in your WFH situation, our Think Tank is the answer. And working from a brewery might just be the motivation your team needs to get back in the office…even if just for a day.
About the Space
The Think Tank is part of Sol Suites, located right above the pub. Wirelessly connect to a large AV monitor for presentations and virtual meetings. Free WiFi is available and our office manager will be on-site to assist should any pesky connectivity or tech issues arise. The flexible seating setup includes a large central table that can be split into six smaller ones to accommodate a variety of workflows.
Capacity
There’s enough space in the Think Tank for up to 12 people, but if you’re hosting a virtual event you’d be surprised how many people can fit (they just won’t get the benefit of beer on site).
Food and Beverage Options
There’s no obligation to order food or drink to reserve the Think Tank but it’s certainly available for you. You can coordinate with our team to provide a catered menu, your guests can submit their orders ahead of time.
Pricing
Bookings for the Think Tank are available during typical business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 at the flat rate of $150 per day. If your needs fall outside of this timeframe, pricing will be discussed at the time of booking.
